Default timing belt replacement

I am going to attempt to change the timing belt myself in my 93 civic, it is going to be the first time but I cant afford 300.- for someone else to do it. My question is should it be best if i use a chalk pencel and mark the wheels and belt and mark the new belt with same marks and try to place the new belt teeth same as old one.

Thanks for your help!!!

V/R
