Timing Belt Question

Default Timing Belt Question

I just had my timing belt and water pump done and noticed that it is making a humming noise when idling. the mechanic told me that he believes it is coming from either the alternator or power steering belt and it should go away after a day or two. does this sound right? has anyone else had the same experience.

i did it was my power steering pump

one of ur belt must b loose......mostly its ur alternator....

timing belt could be to tight

did you replace the tensioner while you were doing all this?
