ok its a b18c in a civic and it feels like theres some loss of pwr in the low end. it feels like it delays some when i push on the pedal. i can feel and hear the pwr from the motor but it feels like its being kinda restricted or delayed. high end pwr feels just fine and vtec is working like its suppose too. its just that i know a gsr in a civic has more that than. got a new timing belt installed when i had the motor swapped and i was thinkin the guy didnt put it on correctly like the teeth on the cam gears are off a little. it feels like the timing is retarded and one guy said when he tried to advance the timing it would set bck to zero. then i had another mech. look at it and he also thinks its just the timing being off. he said theres no pwr by pulling on the throttle cable and listening to the way it runs just to look and hear it real quick. also he mentioned the clutch but ths was before he looked at the car so i dotn think its that. i mean its not a big prblm and i can drive it everyday and get where i need to but i feel like out of a b18c in a civic there should be more speed and pwr than that. im getting better gas mileage but id rather have what that motor can actually put out and run like its suppose too

1st, put a timing light on it and see, dont recall factory time as in degress.
2nd, make sure your not throwing any cels
3rd, i dont see how the timing could set back to zero since you use three bolts to set it.
4th, dont listen to me, i only have like 100 something posts

Hes right though you have to check the timing with a special light gun.
