Re: (daklown)
shouldn't a b16 in an EG coupe, be just as fast as a b16 in an EK couple (IE 2000 model SI). The EG coupe isn't much lighter. And with that in account, the magazines tested the civic si to run roughly 15.7 1/4 mile times (pro driver). That's on stock tires of course.

sorry but that time sucks, i ran 14.9 in a gutted integra LS with only an exhaust. he should run mid-high 14's since its a coupe, which is still ~250lbs lighter than a 99-00 SI.

id say mid 15's too, a friend of mine ran a 15 flat in a eg cx with a stock j-spec b16, full interior, and on 13 stocks.. so you figure a coupe is heavier, so its going to be a little higher.

Re: times on my new B16 EG coupe (rewsnaeht)
this is true, the lowest ive heard is a 14.1 on h/i/e in a hatch.. but its hightly unlikely, i guess it depends on how strong the motor is running also.

hey jack *** times are very dependent on where u live, like elevation. looks like your in florida your times even in a heavier car are gonna be a little quicker than other people in places with higher elevation. BTW you want a cookie for runniing 14.9 in a gutted LS with only an exhaust.

ignoring skinny tires and inexperienced driving,
which b16,tranny & ecu? usdm: a3 w/obd1/440fd/3.3 1st ('94/5 sol); a2 w/obd2/323fd/3.1 1st (si); jdm w/obd1/440fd/3.3 1st/lsd (eg6); ctr; or something inbetween? Does that 'racing clutch' mean a 6.6lb flywheel? is it still a 48mm exhaust? 2400lbs is fat dx!
best case someone could bump mid-14s - worst is that ur slower than an si.
