Default Time for new shocks/springs?

I drive the hb pretty hard thru the turns and now she doesn't bottom out but I can hear the tires rubbing the fender walls.

Any suggestions on a conservative (I live in NYC and believe that cars are meant to be driven) suspension package.

I know what sway bars I want to go with but that takes some work. Either brackets or SI LCAs.

I would like something where I can adjust the dampening (for spirited weekend driving) to a stiffer setting and readjust it back to a more forgiving setting for commuting to work.

I don't want the springs to drop me more than an 1" to 1.5". The highways, streets, corners, crosswalks shoot everything in NYC is unforgiving.

I am going to search for parts but I would like to know what some other people are running in the same conditions.

Thanks for the help.

The Apexi WS or Tanabe Sustec(?) package would allow you to do that, but it's pretty expensive($1000+). Or you you could go with some Koni yellows and a set of adjustable coilovers(Eibach or Skunk2).

Do like Maxim said. I have pro kits on my car and they ride great with just stock shocks. My friend has the Koni yellows with pro kits, and his car rides even better. If you only want about 1.5 in drop than the pro kits would fit your needs and be within a budget....
Ground control if you want to go with sleves. I have no personal experience with any sleeves but these are recommended by most people it seems over the Skunk2's...
