Ticking when engine is off
 

i recently hydrolocked my car and since then its been making a ticking noise after i turn it off after its been warmed up. its never done this before. is it anything i should worry about? its ticks about once every second.

Where is it coming from? What part of the engine? Be more specific.

I've got the same thing. It comes from under the center of the car.

is it maybe the ticking sound that most cars make when they cool down from metal contracting? my car makes a ticking sound when it's cold out from the metal cooling down
