Default Throwing Code 45 & 65 - how to fix?

I have a 00 hatch with an LS swap and i have the CEL on. i just checked and i am throwing codes 45 and 65..

this is what it says for each code:

CODE 45
System Too Lean or Too Rich
malfunction in the fuel monitoring systems

CODE 65
Oxygen Sensor Heater (Secondary)
malfunctioning or defective oxygen sensor heater

I am running a testpipe and no secondary o2 sensor.
Will putting back a stock cat and secondary 02 solve these codes?

Thanks

well code65 seems pretty straight forward to me.

I'm no expert on these codes,
but obviously.. your missing a 2ndary o2 sensor, and it says your 2ndary o2 sensor is malfunctioning.

its malfunctioning cuz ITS MISSING!!! .....

so in otherwords.. dont worry about it,
maybe someone can tell you a trick to get it not to complain.

either that or put a bung for the o2 in your pipe and stick it back in there.

as for the first one.. i'm not sure

Code 45 is because there's no secondary O2 sensor. Code 65 is because the secondary O2 sensor heater is not working (because its not there).

This is a little off topic, but wasnt that civic on ebay?

He'll still get a CEL with a test pipe, and the 2nd O2 sensor. The 2nd sensor is designed to check that the cat is still doing its job. If the levels of emissions at the 2nd O2 sensor are the same as those at the 1st, the ECU will think that the cat has failed, and kick that code 45 again.

Wouldn't the ECU instead/additionally throw a Catalyst Malfunctioning code?

You're right, it would be a code 67.
