throwing code 10 or 01?? in 92 VX w/ 94 GSR using vx harness.
Here's my question.
I thought I read somewhere on H-T that the VX has a 5 wire o2 sensor and the 94 GSR has for wire. I'm throwing code 10 I think one long blink. Anyway if we wired the other four wires right would this be the problem? Anybody have any true information about wiring OBD1 gsr into my 92 VX. Everything is fine the car is running just waiting on a axel.
I think we only wired 4 o2 wires so would that b why we are throwing code 10.
I'm not sure if it's a long or short blink as I never seen the difference, this is the only code we're getting, but it seems like a long blink!

I believe code 10 (1 long blink) is the IAT (intake air temp sensor)
It's a white sensor on the intake manifold. Make sure it's not broken, and plugged in. Wiring up the 4 wire O2 sensor, being the Grn/Wht wire is spliced to the 5 wire O2 sensor on the VX. (which is one of the wires to the IAT).
The IAT is a red/yel wire going to D15, and the other wire is the ground which is Grn/Wht. I would splice the Grn/Wht wire directly to the D22 pinout or the other Grn/Wht wire on the engine bay harness. That will ground the IAT. Reset the ECU, and you're done.
HTH.
