Throttle/idle problem
i have a 2000 civic si with a built ls vtec jumped to obd1 with a p28 ecu when i drive it the throttle will cut out at like 3 grand and then come back and throw me back into my seat like whiplash and i hate it so does my gf haha and its in every gear i can sit at idle and press teh gas slightly and itll rev to 3 grand and drop back down and go up and down and up and down....i replaced the throttle cable for fun and i was told to calibrate my tps sensor help me!

iac valve is fine...check engine light is tps angle code 7 i beleive its just so annoying anytime i pull out it drops then it comes back in and i peel out it sucks

i would check the calibration on teh TPS, it should be somewhere close to center, if its rotated 1 way, loosen the screws and bring it back to center.

Sounds like its time to replace the TPS. They develop "dead spots" in the throttle range from idle to WOT and that will cause the problem you are having, and ironically your CEL is on giving you a TPS code.
