Throttle cable question.
Is there a specific way to adjust your throttle cable so its on point. Do i just have to mess with the two bolts and test the slack? Also this might be a dumb question but does a bad O2 sensor cause really bad gas mileage?

I'm not familiar with your particular set-up, but on my old Civic, there was a vacuum controled diaghram that would retract when the engine idle was up to speed. Sort of an anti-stall setup I guess. While making your slack adjustment, make sure to allow for anything like that.
Really bad gas mileage is relative. How bad are we talking? A malfunctioning O2 sensor can effect fuel mileage.

yeah try messing with the throttle and check for slack...as for the o2 sensor it will make your gas milage goto ****! my ecu was not reading my o2 and it was dumping gas like a mf! went from 40 per gallon to like 28! but my iat sensor was also bad. from what i hear your car goes into limp mode when o2 is busted and that is what causes alot of gas comsuption.
Do you have a cel for the o2 or do you just have bad milage?
