My car normally idles at about 750 RPM but recently its been getting stuck at 1250 after i floor it. When I lift the petal back up with my foot it falls again. Any idea on how to fix this?

Maybe theres crap inside of your throttle cable. You might try taking the cable out and spraying some lubricant onto the braided line, then slide the housing back and forth until smooth. Another possiblity is that your return spring or throttle body opener dealy is gunked up. You can probably spray some degreaser onto it and relube it.
