throttle cable is loose? (need help)
Edit:
I have a 99 civic (auto).... When I start to accelerate from a complete stop my mph doesnt move it stay at 0 mph until my rpm reaches 2500. That's when it start to go up... Is it my throttle cable??? help me please!!

ill give it a shot.... check ur gas peddel spring.. might be messed up... if ur rpm's are staying normal when u are in nutrel then ur throttle cabel is fine.... they got a good write up/ pic on this site of how ur gas pedals work.... try to find it..

this really doesn't sound like your throttle cable, as this has nothing to do with the speedometer... i would say it was your throttle cable if say, your car got stuck at like 2500 rpm... speed sensor maybe? let me know what you find on your search
