Default THROTTLE CABLE DILEMMA !

Alright guys hopefully you can shed some light on this issue i cant figure out what throttle cable was used previously before we took my motor out and did a make over and lost the previous one.

Car: 2000 civic si
Motor: LS/Vtec
Throttle Body is GSR with a GSR bracket

So far the cables i tried are GSR ..00 SI.. and H22 and they all to long! are OBD1 GSR throttle cables different from OBD2 ? im really confused on this.

Try a Type R cable and bracket it's shorter. Does your manifold have mounting points for a bracket? Can't see from the pic.

Thats what i thought too just wanted to double check if there was a difference between OBD1 and 2.. and ill try to get better pix.. i was pretty sure i used either my original si one or a gsr one but i bought brand new once after i lost the previous one and they both too long the h22 one that i tried was the shortest but still a bit long

you can swap out the wheel the cable connects to. some are smaller then others if it was an auto or maunal tb. i had this problem for a while and had to exstend my cable becasue the manual one was so much smaller. worth a try i supose if u have other tb's laying around.

Type R cable would be your best bet.
