if this was my post it would've gone like this.

Hey! I swapped a b18c into my 96 hatchback which originally had a d16, what bracket would i need to re-use my existing throttle cable?

then i would've replied.

oh we'd need to know WHICH F'N MOTOR CAUSE THE LENGTHS ARE DIFFERENT DEPENDING ON WHAT MOTHER F'N B-SERIES.

so yeah, how bout letting us know the specific motor, and either way i'm sure you'll probably end up needing to change the throttle cable and not the bracket.

I used prevously the dx bracket, just bend it at 90 degrees. it,s working, but

only one bolt retained the bracket in place

I will try the b18c5 bracket...it will fit... proprely...

i think so.

I got the same problem with a 96 dx and a b16a swap. The previos owner put in the b16a and I think it has the stock throttle cable and he told me it had a LS throttle body. The cable is too short and it keeps the TB open and it idles at like 3k.
Does anybody know what I can do to fix it. What throttle cable should I use.

im pointing at the injectors but were not looking at that are we...
i stuck it in a vice and just hit it with a hammer till it worked. i have a Y8 manifold, the TB cable is coming out of an ej1, with a d16z6 motor. its only got one bolt (i should dremmel it out now that i think about it...meh...) and thread lock. its been holding steady forever you could do that....

i was in your shoes, nothing was working out just right aaand i just started messing around, one thing lead to another she bougt me some drinks went to her place and boom a bracket that worked
