Default throttle body trouble

I currently have a 2000 civic dx with an obd1 jdm d15b engine, I'm thinking like a 95' engine since it has the black cover. well, I bought it to fix it, not knowing much about hondas, now I know quite a bit, and found out the guy i bought it from was running a stock dx ecu and I had to convert it to obd1 and got the conversion harness as well. Lets just say the engine was a mess. I've fixed the major issues on it, but it runs a bit rough when I try to run at a constant speed, it feels like I'm not pressing on the throttle, like the gas isn't going through and makes the tranny go down in speed and have to either downshift or keep pressing the gas more but, like i said, can't go at a constant speed if I ease off the gas. The intake manifold it has, has the iac valve on the manifold but it is sealed off, and was made to work with the 92-95 intake manifold and 2000 civic throttle body. I was thinking of getting a new intake manifold for a 92-95 engine, so i can set up the iac valve and the matching throttle body how it was on that engine. Are the electrical connections the same? and do you all think thats my problem?

I have trouble understanding what your actual problem is from your post. Please try to reword it so it reads smoother. Are you still running the wrong ECU?

Ok, so the guy I got it from left the throttle body of the 2000 dx on there with all the connections, put it on the older engine, and sealed off the place where the old iac valve would go, which is the intake manifold right, engine they swapped in is obd1. The 2000 dx iac valve goes on the TB. When I run the car it runs fine as long as I keep pressing the throttle to go faster, if I try to leave it at a constant speed it starts boggling as if I'm not even pressing down. I did get the obd2 to obd1 conversion harness and chipped p28 ecu, I'm in the process of getting the 92-95 ex throttle body and taking of the metal plate used to seal the iac valve and get the iac valve that goes there. I'm thinking that is my problem, I don't know if being that it has the 2000dx TB, the iac valve works the same as the 95 ex would, being that one is obd1 and the other obd2, or maybe its just my throttle wire that is loose.

There will be an engine stamp on the front of the block, then you will know the engine block type exactly.

I have the jdm obd1 d15b engine on a 2000 civic which i know is obd2. the picture shows the obd1 matching manifold BUT has the obd2 throttle body. That is how I got the car, and work from the previous owner. the engine was all a mess. I fixed it, and got the correct ecu and everything. The circle shows the metal plate used to seal off the hole where the iac valve would normally go on that engine. I know the engine from the 2000 civic has the valve on the throttle body and not the manifold. Would the iac valve work the same in this setup or would it be better to just get the correct TB and take off the metal plate to put in the iac valve that it supposed to have? its an old pic and sorry i dont have a picture of the back to show more clearly
