Default Threw a rod...Now what???

I have a 93 hatch with a B16a2(00 Si engine). the block has a big hole in it now. What block should I get??? B18 or B20???? Which is easier to use or are they both bolt on's? anyway what do you think I should do next? any help would be great.

Just wanted to share my bad news so everyone will know that there day can always get worse

neither the b18b nor the b20 block are bolt on. u need to tap for vtec and do a bunch of **** to make that workout. LSvtec and b20vtec are good options in a hatch but it will take some work. or you could use a gsr block or b16 bloc kand it will work. PS thats my b18b block

He only said B18 not B18b but yea your right those blocks will take a little more than just swapping right in. Get a gsr block it will bolt right up.

what you should do first is have you head checked out to see how many valves are bent, then shoot for a block replacement...

JB weld y0, not JV

b20 would be the best if you are stayin stock internals

if you're wanting to build....GSR/ITR block with an LS crank would be the best..then run something like 2cc weisco shelf stock pistons and LS length eagles.
