Default Threw a cylnder sensor code...(#9)..please help

Well i have a 98 b18c1 in my 92 cx. It threw the #9 code and idles like ***....but it also threw a 41 but that's the 02 sensor so i can fix that easy. Anyway where is the cylinder sensor located???? None of my friends nor I know where it is. Is it in the distributer? I've read posts saying that it was and that i would have to replace the distributer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys!

Yes, it's located in the distributor. What engine harness did you use to swap into your car?

for the o2 sensor, you can change that easily... but for the cylinder code, it might go away of your computer is reading right after the o2 is fixed(after all your o2 sends readings to your ecu then it sends fuel mapping to the motor).... give that a try...

i think autzone, kragen sells universal o2 sensors( make sures its a 4 wire o2)

hope it this helps...

Yes i have a universal 4 wire o. It has 2 white wires one grey and one black. I hookced the black to the green and white wire...the grey to the white wire...and one of the whites to a yellow/black wire and the other white to the orange/black wire...im thinking i may have the 2 whites mixed.....and about the price....I paid about 70 bucks for that thing. If you get an OEM replacement it can range from like 199-220buck. OUCH...that's why i went with the universal

Drews not around so ill ask some questions...first of all we got a code 41 which i think can be fixed by switching the two white(heater) wires on the o2 sensor. And from what you guys say, that might fix the code 9 too. So thats sorta taken care of. Now we just have to get the vacuum system right...which is my specialty. The only thing is ive never messed with a GSR IM so i dont know where all the lines go. There is an open vacuum nipple(hahaha...i said nipple) on the back of the IM and im not sure what goes there...i think it might be the fpr vacuum line but im not sure. Also...there is a black box under the IM that i can barely see that has some lines coming out of it...im not sure but i think its the evap purge or something along those lines? One of the lines coming off of it is t'd into the fpr line...so im all confused now. Help a brutha out here. TIA

Ok i tried to fix the o2 sensor and well we've pretty much wired it everyway that you can and it still throws the 41 and a 9. It's a brand new o2 sensor. It's a bosch i believe. Do any of you know what the hell is goin on? Thanks
