Default Thoughts on Oil Catch for Civic 98 Ex?

I am getting tired of the butterfly sticking every so often that I have to clean out all the oil from the recirculation every so often which is what I believe it to be. Therefore I would like some thoughts on this if it's a simple inexpencive solution so I won't need to clean out the butterfly anymore.

I'm just tired of the damn gas pedal sticking because of this.

Thanks

you should not be getting very much oil at all i think you have a problem. and usually gas pedals stick from carbon build up. not oil, becuase oil is a lubricant. by the way get a catch can!

Perhaps it's not oil and to come to think of it i bet it is carbon since its not in any lubricant form. Its really just minor Carbon deposits if you will.

If that is the case then would the Oil Catch can be a remedy to me having to clean the butterfly every so often?

I never changed out the PCV just for the record and the engine has 114k miles. I owned the car since 12/2000.

The carbon buildup is quite minor.

Another crazy question here. Would the carbon also be the reason why the IAVC would be clogged at times which I have to clean once every 3 years.

If I replace the PCV then how would this remedy the excess carbon buildup from being recycled into the intake as it naturally is doing from the stock setup from the valve cover to the intake hose?
