Thoughts on the Honda Civic Dual Gauge Bezel dash pod
I was wondering if anyone had some input about some of these that you find on ebay, such as the $20 deals like OBX, APC, or another company called Next Level Motoring any different from the $60 and up autometer?
Thanks for your input.

I bought the cheapest one on ebay i cant remember the name though and it fit great and was only around 25$ shipped... I would do it if you want the gauges. I think it looks better than the pods mounted by the window

Thanks, this was exactly what I was looking for. I too hate the pods down the window frame. What two gauges do you use? I'm thinking the obvious boost but unsure of what else I should use.
Also, sweet ride Joe. All you need now is the ITR seats, my next big purchase once I complete my turbo setup.

I put a vacuum gauge in since i don't have turbo and an A/F gauge which i will add is useless i would've rather have went with an oil pressure gauge

oil temp or oil pressure.... the water temp you have one in your car already stock( it may not be the best but its there) so i would go with either those 2 but i say oil pressure because that oil idiot light we have doesnt always work and if you are low on oil that will inform you

yeah they look sick, but let me ask this . . . . why don't they make them for EG's? I heard there is a place that does, but I never did find it.
I been wanting one for my EG Hatch that I just picked up . . . . if anyone knows where to get them for 92-95 please chime in and PM me as well
Thanks

Re: (Vtec92Civic)
Yeah I plan on getting one once I get my engine built and installed.
Of those 3 I would put the Oil pressure and Oil temp in the pod. Of the 4 I would put the Oil pressure and the boost. But I plan on having: boost, oil temp, oil pressure, pyrometer (EGT), and volt. And if I can find another place to mount 2 more guages, fuel pressure and water temp.
As for them not making one for the eg, I think its because they would have to make that HUGE *** piece, where as the ek and integra it's just the small little bezel.

well that's very true man . . . . EG's are more affordable . . . they should make them for EG's. Maybe if we search hard enough we can find them. Either that or get them to make for EG's some how by showing them that there are a crap load of us EG lovers out here!

I from what I've seen, heard, and read about, looks like I'm boost in the right pod and Oil pressure in the left pod. I'm thinking that boost would be best in the right pod since my left arm sits 12 o'clock, hard to see the left pod...anyone else agree

Re: Guages (2K SI)
I have a dual gauge pod in my 93 sedan and I love it. The gauges are right there in front of you where you can monitor them easily. I do admit that sometimes at night the glow can be somewhat distracting, but other than that I love em.

Re: Guages (ErMaK)
i have seen a bezel piece for the eg that goes over the lamp and vents on the right side of the steering wheel... but it also inluces a spot for a huge tach, if you dont have one... and only has room for two small guages... looks good, except for that giant tach..
