For Those of You With Teg Dash in EG USING Teg Harness
Hey Guys,
For those of you that wired in your integra dash and used the integra dash harness you had to pin integra wires to the one civic plug that connects to the fuse box.
Can someone take a picture of that civic plug that visibly shows the integra wires being pinned into the civic positions?
This would be a great reference for people that want to do this mod in the future.

Re: For Those of You With Teg Dash in EG USING Teg Harness (litterbox)
It's still going to depend on which cluster and plugs the person has. I can tell you I have in total had three different clusters in mine, at one point, two different Integra ones for testing. Using the same plugs between a 1994-97 cluster on a 1998-01 cluster will not work. One of the clusters will go haywire.

I have a 98-01 cluster. I don't know what year the harness is from however. If my harness turns out to be from a 94-97, it won't work?

Does a 94-97 harness have different wire positions or color wires than a harness from a 98-01?

Yes.

the 16 pin connector is called the B connector
the 13 pin connector is called the D connector
look at it from left to right with B1 (or D1) being the #1 pin on the left handside, with the plug right side up (how it's suppose to be when it's plugged into the gauge cluster and you're looking at it from the driver's POV).

this is for reference only. It may be right and it may be wrong....but it's taken straight out of a honda service manual for 95 integra GSR. i take no responsibility for your action should you decide to be creative. Have fun

The 1994-97 cluster plugs 16pin layout also explains, why in the other thread he was having problems with the fuel gauge and the ebrake, according to pin one.

Re: For Those of You With Teg Dash in EG USING Teg Harness (INVALID)
I am in the same boat as this guy. I have a 95 underdash teg harness to match my dash, a 95 cluster with a million miles and a 97 cluster with a lot less for my EG of course. I think the 98-up clusters pose the problem becuase i read somewhere that the ECU generates some of the info on the 98-up clusters. Resulting in those clusters going haywire...Whereas the 94-97 clusters get all their info from the sensors/wiring and not from the ECU.... This is what i heard tho.

The harness isn't what really matters, basically those are just wires if there is nothing plugged into them. It's the led sending points on the back of the cluster that make the difference. Initially, I had heard there were problems getting the 98-01 or 99-01 Integra Clusters wired up, but I don't believe that to be the case. I believe you just have to change around the ordering of the cluster to match. What specific problems are you having with your cluster once wired up using some of the diagrams you have found on H-T?
Haywire speedometer and rpm gauge if you turn on the turning signals or something along those lines?

Heard that as well in a post a few years back, but not certain how whether the problems can be overcome or not.

That diagram from the other post was fine. I think BlueIntegra posted it. Just use to top diagram and keep your eyes on everything on the left hand side.

Here's a diagram from Mr. Poison.
Red/Blu will be left out
Blu/Red will be left out
Yel/Grn > Yel/Grn
Yel/Red > Yel/Red
Yel/Blu > ORG
Blu > Blu (this wire has two grey dots along the wire)
Prpl/Grn > Grn
Blu > Blu (this wire has one grey dot along the wire)
Grn/Org > Grn/Org
Red > Red
Blu/Yel > Blu/Yel
Wht/Grn > Wht/Grn
Brn/Blk > Brn/Blk
Red/Grn > Red/Grn
Then splice the Yel/Blk wire to the Yellow wire on the green plug to supply power to the integra hazard switch. This will make your turn signals work.
The thing about this is that I'll have wires left over. How do I figure out what to do with them?

Alright, are you talking about the cluster now. Cause if you're talking underdash, Poison is going to know before me, so I have no cause to dispute. I'll be back to look after I sleep for two hours.

Yes I'm talking about the underdash harness. I'm not talking about the cluster. Your diagram at the top was for the cluster right?
