For those with sway bars
I have a GSR front sway to be put on my 93 sedan. Now, I needed new endlinks so I got some from Energy suspension. However, they say on the back that they will not work with GSRs or Del Sol Vtec. Since I am using GSR bar but on a Civic, this is entirely unclear to me. Can someone tell me if I need specific GSR endlinks, or if these civic endlinks will work???? Looking at them, my GSR endlink has 3 bushings, the civic has 4. Maybe one should be omitted, I really don't know

GSR endlinks are different from si/ex civic endlinks. If the holes on your swaybar are vertical, you need gsr endlinks.

Actually looking at the bar from the top you see no holes.....but that makes the endlinks stick horzontal, which i guess would make for horizontal holes????
wow i am still lost, someone must be able to confirm?!?!?!

If your car didnt come with a sway bar than you
will need controll arms. If it did then I dont think
that the civic controll arms can be used with the gsr
bar. This is why I sell them together. swaybar+controll arms

Re: For those with sway bars (d15dude)
If you lay the bar flat on the ground and look down on it and you can't see the holes, they're vertical. Vertical = up and down (|), horizontal = flat (---). Civic and GSR control arms are the same.
EDIT: GSR endlinks bolt through the swaybar at a right angle and have bushings on the control arm. Civic endlinks sandwich both the control arm and the swaybar with bushings.

Re: For those with sway bars
GSR front sway bar in an EG:
If you don't have an EX or Si EG, you'll need front LCA's from an ontegra, SI or EX from 92=95 civic hatch, coupe, or sedan. Doesn't matter
Once you have the LCA you have the hole needed for the endlinks to bolt up and your D bracket to bolt up also.
Anyways. GSR front sway bar is odd shaped at the end. You can not use an end link that goes up and down. You need an L shaped endlinks that was used on the gsr from the factory. The endlink has a pivoting ball joint which bolts to the sway bar, and the other end bolts to the lower control arm. You'll need that one. Specify GSR when ordering the part.
I was looking to replace the endlink rubber with polyurethane. No one makes a kit for the gsr endlinks, but I just reused the bushings provided by ES in my Hyperflex kit and it was a close enough fit to work on my gsr endlinks.
Hope I helped.
