those with H&R race springs
ok tuners/enthusiasts,
i have just taken delivery of my set. i was reading the instructions inside and it has a section on honda/acura stating not to cut the bump stops. too late for me because i have a complete tokico kit on right now, and we cut the bump stops in half already. as instructed to do by tokico.
now there is a second section in here about an aditional .5" lowering available with the race spring, just cut the bumps stops 1".
im not sure when im going to be able to get the new springs on, but i wanted to know if im going to have to get new bump stops or will i be ok.
how long are the stock bump stops?

Re: those with H&R race springs (Huggy Bear)
I just did mine over the weekend. Installed H&r Race with tokico illuminas. The illumina's came with an aftermarket bumpstop. Is that the tokicos that you got? My car was dropped on other springs before and I used the stock bumpstops. They were cut to about an inch and half possibly less. I didnt see anything about lowering it an addition .5? I'm guessing the stock bumpstops are about 2 inches. Not exact though. I think you'll be alright.

Re: those with H&R race springs (drew0010)
i guess i should have been a little more clear. i bought the HP tokico kit with struts, and springs. its a 1.5 drop (was told it was a 1.75 drop). its a 2000 dx hatch. the HP kit is good, but its not low enough for me and the ride is was too soft. feels similar to stock.
strut bars, tie bars, and a rear sway bar is next.
