think this will pass a test only smog
jdm b16a with p28 ecu and cai, all stock but those so far.. want to do it before its to late.. i can get a ilegal smog but just want some guesss if it will pass for $35.00..lol instead of $200.00
in a 95 delsol??

Re: think this will pass a test only smog (one slow eg2)
as long as you don't have a check engine light you should pass just retard the timing a little bit..did that in my gsr hatch with a p28 and no cat...

When I had my 94 EH3, I had a JDM B16A with the USDM P28. Other than that, everything else was stock. Wasn't until I replaced the cat' that I passed all emissions tests.

Even if you can pass any emission with no cat', how do you pass the visual? That's like the very first thing they do before they even do anything on the car.

O, the Si VTEC. Didn't know their USDM DOHC used a P30.
