Think I got a good deal?
I picked up a 2000 cx yesterday. No a/c or p/s, 5 spd 42k. for $6000 out the door at a dealership. Needs a new driver's side door, front bumper, hood, dent in right door and scratches on the rear bumper.

It sounded like a real good deal until I read about everything that needs to be replaced. It still doesn't sound like a bad deal though.

I don't plan on making it perfect, since I'm tired of the attention my integra was getting. Total sleeper mods only!

Its not a bad deal.. did you get any kinda warrenty from the dealer? You can always hit up Certi-fit and replace ur hood, front and rear bumper, and door panels for like $200 Then I'd say it was a steal.

Re: Think I got a good deal? (all stock)
I want to replace all parts that need replacing with oem pieces, then get a carbon hood and paint to match.

I think he could get a complete undamaged door off of a wrecked car for MUCH less than $500. Maybe even one that matches his car's color.

doors are 500.....at least at the 15 shops/salvage yards i called last year! yes 6000 was too much for that car with all the damage to it!!!!!!!!
