Default Are these stock struts?

EG sedan. I am pretty sure the previous owner lowered the car but I am not exactly sure how he did it. I was poking around at it today and wondering if I have some ebay coilovers in. I remember hearing someone say that a coilover is adjustable via an allen wrench on the top of the strut tower. I noticed that there is a spot on the top for an allen wrench. Is this how they all come or is it a coilover?

Here is a pic:

and that allen wrench hole is the hold the piston so you can remove that nut which holds the spring/shock assembly together.... and if you had ebay coilovers, there would be a threaded sleeve around the shock body with locking rings that you either tighten or loosen to raise or lower the car that is where the adjustability is

Rust doesn't mean ****, Koni's have had issues with their coating, and rusting.

You may be right, but you can't judge that buy a picture of the upper mount.

Remember, you CAN run OEM top mounts/hats on aftermarket shocks. We NEED to see the actual shock! You cannot say that car has stock shocks by just looking at the top mount, period.

^~~~~ makes a very valid point i used stock top hats on my dropzone gas shocks and they definitely are not stock shocks. so you verified the top hat is stock but like 98civdx said we need pictures of the shock. quit being lazy and take a wheel off and show us a inner wheel well shot.
