Are these Smart Valves for real?
http://www.aatap.com/homepage.html
I don't remember how I came across this site, but it seems quite interesting. I wonder if they really work or if it's one of those BS miracle car products.

It is interesting, to say the least, I just really dont see it being reliable (honda kind of reliable). Theres basicly a metal bushing between the head and the valve head bouncing around. Id like to see this done on some cars that see alot of track time.

Re: (dantastic)
i highly dobut it would work like they claim.
and ill take me solenoid controlled valves any day. few more years till we see them in many cars!
could you imagine FULL control of valve travel? no camshafts needed? *drool* its a tuners wet dream.

That would be the best. Its crazy to think about. Unlimited valve timing. I just don't see solenoids lasting that long. Just think how much it would cost to replace a solenoid. What about the magnetic field it would create. I wonder if that would effect any thing.

Indeed, I get tight in the pants just thinking of it. Just imagin chipping your ecu to give you more lift and duration!
