Thermostat problem?!?!?!?
my temperature guage before use to stay at the bottom line of the guage unless i let it idle for a long time then it would climb to the middle so i figured it was the termostat so i changed it and today the temperature needle doesnt even move now its just stays at C what could be wrong? the sensor?

the temp needle is supposed to be at the middle(normal operating temp), if it ain't broke don't fix it... when your car warms up( when the needle is at the middle), feel the lower radiator hose and see if it's cold or warm.

Re: (Egone)
so your temp gauge doesn't work even when the engine is fully warm? since the lower radiator hose is hot/warm, that means the thermostat is working.
if you suspect the gauge to be faulty, unplug the temp sensor and ground out the terminals... your gauge should be at full deflection. if it still doesn't move, your gauge is faulty. err at least i think thats how you would go about testing it, don't have my helms near me but hope that helps.
