Default thermostat housing

im trying to replace my thermostat...its real easy to do...ive done it b4 on couple of other cars...

but on my gsr civic...i cant seem to get the housing off...i drained the coolant...took off all the hoses from the housing...took the 2 10mm bolts...and it wont come off...i tried lightly hittin it with a hammer...wont budge...honda put some nice silicone glue on there..freakin cant take it off..haha...

i tried using a screwdriver to ply it off but the flathead is too thick...

any suggestions?

Try a skinny screwdriver or knife. And have a friend hit it lightly with a hammer.
