Is there a write up on replacing head gasket for d16y7 engine?
I been searching for idk how long and can't seem to find one if there is one. Even tried to find a video on youtube with no luck. I am pretty mechanical I think. Changed my own manifold/cat, fuel pump, o2 sensors, and spark plugs with little to no problems.
I just need a decent guide to follow and I am good to go!

The first place to start is the service manual.
After you read the details there, then post any specific questions that remain unanswered.
Checking the head and block mating surfaces for flatness is critical, especially when the failure involved overheating.

Tons of the, just gotta search.
Bt its a pretty easy job. I always take off the intake manifold as it makes removing the head easier.
