Re: is there a supercharger for 96 civic LS (jL iLLuZiOnz 9)
Yes I' m in Tahiti, here engines in Honda cars are different than in US,
for exemple my prelude has a F22A2 instead of F22A1,
and I was looking for a CRX 1st gen, and it' s engine here is a 1.6 DOHC, might be a D16??, in US 1st gen CRX have a 1.5l engine.
For the civic, a friend of mine might buy this 1.5LS civic
The engine code is D15Z6, 16V SOHC VTEC.
Do you think it worth buying this civc, all 96 civic parts should fit on that car execpt engine parts, as it has a different engine, that' s why I was asking if there' s a supercharger for it. He might supercharge it as it' s an AT car, it' ll apply less stress on the engine than a turbo.
Thanks for your help

Re: (Jokerluv)
wich Jackson SC fit the D15Z6 ?
I only saw SC for:
989-210 : 1996-00 - CX, DX, LX - D16Y7
989-200 : 1996-98 - EX - D16Y8
989-110 : 88-98 - ZC Engine
(for these SC the year is good but no D15Z6, can someone tell me if D15Z6 and D16Y7/Y8 share the same head ? isn' t ZC a DOHC ? These infos come from Jackson Racing website, these SC are suppose to be for SOHC).
and
989-100 : 1992-95 - CX, DX, LX, EX, SI - D16Z6/D15B7 (here the year isn' t good but it fit a D15B7, don' t know if head is similar to D15Z6 too)
If someone have an answer to these questions and help me find out wich supercharger can be use that' ll be great.

Re: (99blackcivicSi)
I know about the Endyn, that' s why I didn' t ask about it.
Still don' t know wich Jackson can fit the D15Z6
why didn ' t they use the same engine as US that would be so much easier

My guess that it's a jdm d15b type engine, since it's vtec not vtec-e or something. Weird. You should take a picture of the engine and back of the intake matifold maybe we will be able to tell.
Best bet is to call Jackson Racing.

Re: (Campee)
Thx Naruto rules
By the way, ABK thx for the link for the D16 head codes,
as I told you, I saw the car this evening and the head is the same as D16Y8,
it' s a P2J-x don' t remember the last number
Do you think if it has the same head as D16Y8, the Jackson SC
989-200 : 1996-98 - EX - D16Y8
will fit ?
The 1.5l engine comes from a smaller stroke (84.5mm instead of 90mm), the bore is the same.

Re: (Siegfried)
yeah if it's y8 head the S/C should bolt up. I would still call Jackson Racing and see if they had any experiance with that motor. Don't know anything about d15z6 but since the bore has to be the same (headgaskets are the same as d16z6) the stroke has to be shorter.
So I guess d15z6 is the same jdm d15b but instead of z6 head it uses y8. It prolly uses more agresive cam then y8.
