Is there a JDM ECU for an auto tranny SOHC d16y8 DEL SOL?

My car runs fine. But it shifts early in the rpm range at WOT. It shifts at 6400rpm going from 2nd to drive. This is the problem area. 1st gear to 2nd shifts are around 6700 to 6800rpm which is ok. My engine never reaches max hp in 2nd gear before it shifts. Kinda sux. I tried to hold the car in second gear to get a higher rpm before it shifts. This didn't work. The tranny will shift into drive even if the gear selector is locked in 2nd. Weird. Will a JDM ECU correct this problem and allow for higher rpm shifts at WOT?

No, but a manual tranny will fix the problem. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Try another P2E ECU and see if the problem still exists.

There must be a JDM auto ecu for a d16y8. I know they made B16's and B18's with auto trannys.
