Default IS there diffirence in performance?

Hey listen ive been debating about my swap, so here it goes ill try to explain as best as i can. I currently have JDM D15B engine in my 93 LX. Before it used to have a D15b7 non vtec! My q comes about the map sensor i currently kept the stock one which is next to the firewall but my engine came with TB that needed MAP on TB. Ive noticed that only vtec engines seem to have the MAp sen. on TB. I currently got my hands on a MAP for the TB Setup but im wondering is there any diffirence in response maybe since its in a diffirent location? Will the TB setup one be better for more accurate reading? Any input would be cool! And please dont tell me they are the same cuz they have diffirent part #s for a reason and they are diffirent in size also!

probaby a more accurate reading yes but you won't feel any difference i don't think... if you got your hands on it you might as well do it though

I would assume better readings and more accurate. Also if the one is newer and in better condition why not get it and see. then you can be the guy to tell us yes or no. Sorry if i didnt help much

Screwed up setting i guess also i think maybe it would be better since im running a p28 so maybe the other newer map sensor on TB would make it more accurate i guess? Maybe cuz yours is a DX i dont know?

92-93 DX HB = on the firewall, 94-95 on the TB.

No gains/lose in performance.

No need to change the TB either.

If doing a swap into a 92-93 with a firewall mounted MAP, remove the fuel filter and unravel the MAP wiring from behind it, reinstall the fuel filter, connect MAP connector. I did this in about 1998-1999......
