Is there any way to make my a/c blow HARDER?
My a/c gets cold....it just doesn't blow hard enough to hit my face when I'm driving, which pisses me off.
Is it controlled solely from the blower motor/fan/something?
If so, is there any way I could maybe change that out for something that I could get to blow a little harder?
There's no use in having a/c if you can't feel the cold air on you

no, i know there's not.
Every Civic I've ever been in is just like it......they just don't blow as hard as a lot of the other cars out there.
Everytime I ride in my brothers Nissan, I wonder why Honda didn't make a good a/c system like that

try replacing the fan resistor switch, located on top of the blower housing behing the glove box. Mine doesn't blow very hard either and i was told that was the reason, but my lazy *** just hasn't gotten around to replacing it yet to see if it works.

supercharge that A/C Pulley. 10 lbs of boost on that sucker and I guarentee that thing will freeze the boogers in your nose and blow damn hard
umm, I think Hondas A/C is weaksauce, ive been in a couple and they are all the same. but if it aint blowin hard enough, make sure switchs are kewl and vents arent clogged

The Honda Pilot's A/C is so friggen cold and it blows so friggen hard it will freeze you on the spot... But thats a lot more $$ than a Civic

have you checked the blower itself?
i had a mouse nest in mine. full of poop, leaves, lint and acorns.
it blew fairly hard compared to before after i cleaned it out.

I had this same problem when I first got my hatch. I'm guessing you have the hatch in your avatar. If so, my solution was to turn the center vent on top of the dash off. That way more air went through the other vents. Then again, most people aren't as stupid as I am.

civic's dash vents suck ***...
i recently swapped an integra dash and a/c blower lid (just the lid, not the blower) and it blows HARD, right in your face too!!
the reason is because the teg's dash sticks out more, and the vents are closer to your body, unlike the civic's which are damn near on the windshield...
teg dash solved my a/c woes!

no, there are three screws on the blower motor under the dash on the passengers side. Unscrew them and the motor will come down. Unplug it and thats it.

I been thinking about if it's possible to get an AC compressor from an accord, or oddessey and make the AC super super cold. Any suggestions?
