With the correctly wired jumper this should work, correct?
Should there be any problems at ALL?
If so what issues am i facing? mechanical? electrical? engine studdering? anything?

I don't know if the fuel maps and stuff are going to be correct for your stock D16Y7 motor....but if you are looking for a P06 ECU, I have one sitting next to me if you wanna buy it

I have one sitting at the home already. Thanks though.
Im asking because i just built a harness and im trying to diagnose the problem. I dont know if the ECU is blown or if my wiring is incorrect.
I checked and double checked my wiring with a multimeter. Everything plugs up ok. But when i start the car it studders for a sec then has a rough idle. Bounces like 2-300 rpms constantly.
The only wires im missing out of the harness are a17-IAB and d6-vtec oil pressure.
If everything was done correctly then im thinking its just a bad ecu, in which case id send this one back and just get an exchange.
I guess my question is, could the missing wire (d6) cause an issue even though its a non-vtec motor?
