Thanks to you honda-tech guys, a guy and his firebird got owned.
well, yesterday i posted a topic, "please help me shave some time off the 1/4, and you guys really helped, thanks.
well, that guy down at the track with his wannabe badass firebird got its *** kicked by 1.09 seconds. when i did the post, my car did a run of 13.88@102 MPH, and after all you guys' help, I was able to pull off an amazing 12.72@ 106.7MPH. I did about 5 runs against some other guys but lost to a twin turbo Supra, but who can beat that. the 4th run was against the firebird, and this guy was thinking he was all that and smart alleck. Thanks to you guys.
heres what i did:
**** in trunk removed
front and rear bumper off
open intake
open header
boost to 5.5psi
fuel all the open
back seat and passenger seat taken out
track slicks
high high octane fuel
power shifted a little
and plus all my mods helped me too.
And, the track has a dyno, so i said, what the hell, i'll go for it with all these things done and the HP with boost at max, 234.4HP and 153 Lbs. TQ < thanks to that new block i have.
once again, thanks guys for the advice, and you should have seen the look on that dudes face, i overheard one of his freinds say, "man, you lost to a civic!''
Thanks to H-T! Beer for everyone!
