i tried to do a search and im pretty bad at it.

im looking for the instruction/spec on testing out the distributor.
d16y8 distributor. civic 1998ish EX model.
links with pictures is a plus as i am more visual.

i need to test the whole dizzy and need the OHM and other instruction to test the:
ignition coil,
TDC / crank cyl sensor,
and anything else that should be tested
before i take it out and replaced.

i tried the faq. it looks like its for the 91 dizzy specs. i already have the manual book for that year.

i thought that 92+ would differ.

I think it's more of the ODB version than year revision

ODB0, ODB1, ODB2 etc.

No. We don't have any diagrams for 91 OBD0 Civics in our FAQs sticky. Carefully read the titles of the links. They are correct.
