test pipe will trow an o2 sensor code, are you sure you wonna deal with it, gains are minimal to non. If you you can try ebay, or your local mufler shop. After all it's just a piece of pipe with some flanges on the end.

I have a T1R test pipe from A&J Racing:

http://www.aj-racing.com/

It's full stainless, very nice welds, has some insulation to help with the sound (a bit). And is relatively cheap for the quality you get. I got it to fit a 2.5" header outlet but I think they have different models for different applications, some with an O2 sensor bung.

I bought a regular cat pipe with a clogged cat from the junk yard for $40 and just gutted it. Its not really a true test pipe but atleast it fools the cops.

Retard. You did nothing but created more turbulance in the cat.

how do you figure? you have a cat full of filters, you knock it all out until you can see right through it perfectly. Now the exhaust flows a little better.

It designed with the filters in mind to flow a particular way. They didn't design converters to flow better when you take the honeycomb out of them. Test pipes are designed differently from a gutted cat.

Dont get me wrong a test pipe will flow a lot better then a gutted cat. but for a poor man test pipe I'm saying that gutted cats are the way to go.
