Does a regular test pipe bolts up directly onto a cat back exhaust system or do you have to cut and weld flanges and pipe to make it fit? reason being i have a ek hatch and just got a megan racing cat back exhaust but i have no cat and in need a something cheap like a test pipe from kteller or something but wasn't sure if the normal size length test pipes are made to bolt on directly in place of a cat?

Just order a racing cat off of ebay...straight through flow, well it's really a resonator...

The test pipe just bolts in exactly where the cat was. No welding or cutting. As long as you have a normal length and size header (Non-JDM) it should be a perfect swap.

thanks for the info but would a hi flo cat make a difference in power or is that pretty much the same as a test pipe?

Do test pipes come with a o2 hole? if not where does the o2 sensor go?
