Default Test pipe or cat?

i am using my dx cat with my LS motor and itr MiD pipe, now it's probably hurting the performance a lot, so i was thinking of switching to a test pipe!!! Will it be a lot louder?!?!?! the itr mid pipe has a resonator so that should keep it down i hope? yay or nay, will it be a noticable improvement performance wise or no?

I have a test pipe in my '99 Civic EX and I noticied a small increase in power throughout the power band.

Why not buy an INT cat? Aftermarket ones are around 120-250.

I used to have a testpipe in my eh2 hybrid and it pulled strong but it wasn't worth it. If you are turbo with lots of mods, it might be worth it but for a daily driver, no thanx. It stinks and it's loud, you could practically commit suicide by carbon monoxide just by sitting in traffic. I have a cat in there now and I don't notice a decrease in hp, no more stink but it's still loud since it's a tanabe.
