Tensioner Bolt and crank bolt
I bought this boosted civic, had it for a week, and i blew the head gasket and the the timing belt stripped and skipped teeth (i hope thats it )
i got the head gasket on but of course the guy i bought it from rounded out the tensioner bolt and put it back in. i tried the craftsman extractor socket but it didnt work i think cuz i didnt heat the bolt up first. my biggest concern is if there's anyway i can get my crank bolt (19mm) off without using a compressor because mine isnt big enough. i tried the 5th gear foot on the brake thing and that didnt work either. any help??

Sorry, go rent a bigger compressor.
Not much room to work on the 14mm hex head tensioner bolt.
I think your on the right track remove the plastic cover and grab it with vise grips.
Good Luck.
