you might have a little air in your block, try letting your car warm up with the radiator car off and your heat on high.

The heater core is bypassed.

Try draining the coolant, refilling it and bleeding it.

does your rad. fan turn on? if not, it could be dued to faulty fan sensor located on thermostat housing..If it is then rebleed your cooling system and make sure you have the right mixture... Also check your fuses...

There should be a bleeder screw by the top radiator hose(im not sure on D series). You can fill the radiator to the highest it can go then crack the bleeder screw till you get a constant flow of coolant. That might take all the air out.

just start it and let it warm up a bit to build pressure( with the cap on) and open and close the bleeder screw
