Not from a Civic. It's from a 98-02 Accord/99-04 Odyssey. You can also add the radio steering wheel controls, since these years just use 1 signal wire through the clock spring and the other goes to steering wheel ground. The ek only uses 3 of the 4 pins on the clockspring, so you have an extra pin to use.

Stock rear springs couldn't handle lightweight rear passenger and kept rubbing on bumps so I ended up putting together 2 pairs of H&R springs and AGX struts and this was the result. Damn Miata spare got me.
Anyone have adjustable rear camber arms with rubber bushings that have lasted more than a couple years?

I thought the car had a bad rack or really bad tie rod but it turns out to be a deformed tire. Probably safest to replace all 4
Also to be cheap I flipped the sunvisors until I can find a clean set. Nothing worse than staring at torn cloth of a bad one all drive

Haven't posted on the forum in a hot minute. But I've been working on building this. Sleeved D16y8, Vitara Pistons, SpeedFactory Rods, On3 Performance GT30 Turbo, etc.... Gonna be my little sleeper.

Alright so ive ordered some tires. Some really skinny tires. Skinny low profile tires. Really skinny low profile tires made in china, and some $30 eBay lowering springs.
Testing the boundaries of frugality and insanity, I want a narrow tire for the best gas mileage

I want to test their gas mileage increase. The stock 185/65/14 standard tire is not a performance tire at all, and besides being a new tire and a deep tread the walmart Douglas brand is noisy hot mess anyways.
I found some 165/65/14 (Honda insight tire size) with similar chinese branding, if I'm going that brand might as well make it count and go a size smaller. Insight forum guys have run similar sizes as a winter tire so I know they will work.
Dangerous, nah, I drive like an old lady. It will however be interesting to see if I can get some good second gear chirp on the tires.
Yes I'm stupid. 🙉

Why the cheap springs, well with a 14inch tire I was figuring the sidewall deflection would make up for the harsh spring rate, that probably goes out the window with the small tires I purchased.
Champion oil filters (federal mogul) are $0.86 each and had the same warehouse departure as my tie rods and oil pan gasket. Logically I bought 8 oil filters since the quantity did not affect the price of shipping from rockauto. Yes I use the $4 inner and outer tie rods and do my own alignments
I tried to price out every gasket I needed for the engine, but on rockauto they were all shipping out of different warehouses and a $4 seal or gasket set would have $4 shipping and no way to bundle it. Its cheaper and easier just to get them at autozone

Rockauto is on my **** list because I haven't been able to get anything I need. No bushings, pcv valve, can't remember what else. Spent a bunch of time sorting through parts and changing them to avoid extra shipping only to have items removed when trying to pay because they can't ship certain parts to CA anymore because of some stupid change to prop 65.
I emailed them about the problem and they basically said no ***** given.

I was just concerned for your safety, Chrysler Kid. If the they only go under down under they’ll probably be ok down under your car.

nicely done on the paint work.
Yeah its a risk buying tires that probably aren't qc'ed but hopefully you just end up with a flat and nothing more.

Just to help you guys sleep better about my safety you should know I still have the receipt from the tire on the car right now that has a seperated steel belt and deformity under the tread. Care to guess what brand it is and its age?
