Changed my oil and trans fluid today and...
Scored this muffler today off my neighbors 2017 toyota highlander for free. 2 1/2 inch pipe and a nice little turndown on it. Going to high temp black it. Kinda reminds me of a j's racing dolphin muffler. Excited to hear what it sounds like.

before I put my motor in I checked my breather. O ring wasnt rubber anymore. Felt like plastic and separated into 3 pcs. New o rings and hoses. I swear I felt so smart that day.

Progress is slow... I haven’t even ordered megasquirt yet, but I’m in the process of stripping down my Acura TL engine harness and cutting away the unnecessary bits. Aside from DEI, do any of you guys have any recommendations on heat shrink tubing?

No, didn't have to remove the brake MC, I removed the fuel return hose, unbolted the fuel rail, unbolted the upper alternator bracket and VOILA, rotating the alternator a bit and it came out,

Thats what I’m doing where I can. Where the wires will need to be spliced, I’ll use crimp beads, a dab of solder, and a small glue filled piece of heat shrink tubing. I’m going to sleeve the whole harness.

alternator swap was success, using an alternator for em1, tapped the top with an m10x1.25, bought grade 8 m10 bolt 20mm long, grinded the opening a bit on the upper bracket to fit the new bolt, had to buy diff length belt. boom.

Gutted the interior. I’m painting all the plastics and vinyl Onyx black. Reupholstering the ceiling, visors and sunroof cover in black nubuck.

I just got my 97 Honda Del Sol S (A/T), today was the first day I was able to work on it. Cleaned the headlights, sparkplugs, wires, oil, oil filter, and air filters. Also replaced the POS radio that was put in, and fixed the rats nest fire hazard of wire behind it.

The 96+ fuel rail is small enough that it was not close to interfering with removal. The y5/y8 intake manifolds are larger that your d15 or z6 manifolds. So your engines intake manifold is smaller which is why you didn't need to remove the mc
