If the instructions say to cut off and tie to acc, that means they will probably only come on with low beams unless you cut it off a splice into acc

Re: Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today
Today I did the first thing to my new-to-me 2000 Honda Civic. I went to a nearby wrench-a-part and pulled off a few things. Visors, a manual window crank, a few emblems, and a console insert thing(???). I'm in the process of a move, so I don't have all my tools with me. So I went in armed with two screwdrivers, a small (cheap) ratchet set, and a mallet. All the essential tools, right?
Anyway, I pulled some new visors out of a 2000 Civic at the yard (it was the same color and everything... spooky). Tried to get the little bit that the visors latch into as well, but they broke
Got home and pulled off (not literally, of course) my old visors and put on the new ones. Now, here are the new ones. They don't look great, but they are a VAST improvement.
(IGNORE THE HEADLINER )
'Cause guess what? THESE ARE THE OLD ONES.
Annnnnd..... I also put in this little thing. It doesn't match, but the hole was bothering me, so it'll do for now.
So I guess I didn't do much today, but I'm giving myself a pat on the back. This is the first day I've had it, after all.

I plug the scanner into my car every few days to check codes since the Accord ECU doesn’t have a MIL output. J-swapped Civic is still going strong!
No codes other than the ECU not being able to talk to the modules that aren’t there.

Re: Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today
Got some new (to me) wheels yesterday. Set of four 17x8.5 +30 STR 606 wheels for $200 The guy I got them from was somehow running 205/40/17 tires on these wheels. SUPER STRETCHED. I'll be going to a larger, and more appropriate size, soon.
(I apologize for the bad picture!)
One of them still needs to be painted, Which he offered to do when I wanted and we'd have a BBQ. Sounds good to me.
Anyway, pulled off my old wheels, I'm so glad I have a garage now. In the past I was always working in apartment parking lots!
My old wheels (that I got with the car) were 17x7 Motegi MR116. They looked okay, but I'd say I came out on top. These will be going to the guy I got the new wheels from, since his car needs to sit on something!
Anyway, a quick look at the difference.
I've wanted wheels like these for a long time, so I'm happy. And for anyone that's curious, the 17x8.5 +30 wheels with the 205/40 setup does not rub at all. My car is still at stock height now. We'll see when I go to the larger tires, though (I planned on rolling my fenders anyway tbh).
Final look at the outcome. I feel pretty accomplished

Too funny, but yeah so much better to have a garage.
I get to be watched over by Marvin the Martian as seen in my second pic of post #18.

I've done coilovers + camber arms, brake swap all around, etc in an apartment parking lot in the dead heat of Texas summer. It was terrible, but I still accomplished it. But I definitely prefer the shade and space that a garage allows. So glad I don't have to go back to that!
Way too much sweat and sunburns! (And chigger bites!)

Found out that the cabin harness wasn't the only thing needed, there's a small harness thats needed in order to connect the secondary o2 sensor.

New to me car, so the first project was to clean engine, repair all oil leaks, and do an entire maintenance.
Several days work and several hundred dollars in maintenance parts.

Don't take his comment literally, it wasn't a serious comment.
