Good ****, never do a swap if you're not going to finish it.
Drove home to parents home to replace my sisters engine harness on the db7, corroded wires cause the car to take a while to start and cel for the coolant sensor under the distributor. Not to mention the remote start wouldn't work but it would come on with the key. Bought a good condition, or to some of you a "new to me", engine harness. Cleaned up, replace old electric tape with super 88 heavy duty, clean connectors and added di-electric grease to ALL OF THE PLUGS. We were in business before the tropical storm passed. Still had to get through the rain that was occurring on a daily basis though.
During the drive my rear right suspension started make some crazy amount of squeal, its time to tackle the bushings. I lost the spec sheet so I emailed suja1 for them. Man those guys have my business forEVER.

Well! 1997 Honda Civic EX PO335. Crank Sensor Circuit A range performance.
I'm at the point to that I want to rewire the CKP sensor wires from the new Crank sensor plug to where ever they go to.
It is very hard, to get to the wiring below the intake.
I looked at some Goggle images of the wiring and pin outs at the ECM/PCU and distributor connectors.
Can someone explain where to run the the 12V + power/Signal and possible ground wires to.
Not sure if I need to run to distributor or ECM or both?
Thank you!

Re: Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today
Last weekend, I did an oil change/installed a Fumoto valve, changed the valve cover gasket, changed the cap and rotor, and finally changed the plugs.
This weekend I hope to flush the cooling system at least twice.

I did the first cooling system drain, and closed it back up, and now it's leaking from the drain.
I guess I have to replace the o ring. I figure I'll pick up a replacement plug and use that and replace the o ring on the original for when I do the final flush.

gonna start work on the front suspension cuz all replacable parts are coming tomorrow that way I can work on the tacoma truck tint during the weekend. I think the only thing that needs to be pressed out is the shock bushings since I order new oem, like honda oem, upper control arms. The swaybar will be using energy suspension since I couldn't confirm what to use from hardrace site. Oh well. Got the ES from HondaPartsHero 'how-to' guide on adding front swaybars to a hatchback. Thanks dude!!!

Did they by chance send you the wrong front shock bushing? They sent me the long one that was for the em1. Their diagram even notes it for the non-si model but its not.

PIC is awesome with handling errors on their end, it just sucks that the car is down while waiting. I'd be shocked if he didn't over night the correct bushings to you.

the problem is this, their diagram shows the exact same measurements for the si. It looks like they just re-labeled the diagram fro 'si' to 'non-si'. I even took pic's to show them that the bushing they sent me was not the same as mine, I took pics of mine on the civic and sent it to them as well. I looked up hardrace bushings and for sure confirmed my findings that the front end bushings they sent me are incorrect.

I ordered hardrace bushings today. If I have all goes well with PIC and I have no use for it than I can return it or sell it on ebay/craigslist.
Gotta start ordering parts for the tacoma, balljoint busted on me while driving around.

Got a wild hair, and ordered a bunch of FBP paint. Time to paint my moldings, side skirts and mirrors
I don't have a picture, but the other weekend I picked up a CTR grill, and started taking it apart for paint today.

Compliance, swaybar and endlinks are in place. Only thing left is the lower and upper control arms and then a trip to the alignment shop.

Re: Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today
Fixed a longstanding problem with seatbelts that weakly retracted.
My warranty will replace parts and labor on seatbelts for life on my car, so I took it to the dealer. The rep hemmed and hawed and then went to get his manager. Manager said to clean the seatbelt hanger (behind door) with alcohol. He said they get dirty over time, and that prevents proper retraction.
I though it was BS to get me to leave, so did a simple search and found this:
In summary, don't just clean the hanger, but the entire belt using a bucket with warm water and dish soap. Mine turned out to be coated in black gunk, which was apparent from looking at the bucket water, but which wasn't readily visible on the belt itself.
I followed the procedure almost exactly and... it worked!
I had initially tested the retraction right after washing (when the belt was still wet), and it was better but not very good. After a few hours drying in the sun, though, it was like a new seatbelt.
