i spent the day replacing the fuel lines on my 93 civic dx, complete PITA! but its all done now. hard line under the car and flex line from the axel to the filter.

I bled my brakes after putting on a new caliper in the rear of my 97 civic.....It was supposed to be an easy swap...wow was I wrong...

What made it difficult? calipers are cake to replace on our cars.

On an actual note, I went out to finish rebuilidng my calipers only to find that the pistons are gone. :shrug:

Today, i made a decision!!!!! Get my damn EM1 out of storage, even if it is just for a month or two, and get my engine swap done.....the one i rebuilt two years ago :P

Got the R Right RTA back on the car.

Found out I need a new front right upper control arm, fuckers threads are wrecked some how, not to mention there is a big of play in the socket, ugh...

the rear fender is part of your cars chassis, it doesnt come off.
thats why those rear quarter dents are such a PITA

lot of propped hoods are b/c clearance....alot of v6's out of cl type s are running around ny at least under hoods of civics.

Ill deal with the propped hoods, its when they notch em out and let the engine show through the hole that i draw the line.

I never even drove the year this year, at all :P It's been in storage in a different city, somewhere safe. Last summer was kind of a write off for me too, all i did was work 60 hours a week and had no life.

I think i will use this Sept to really try and finish off the car. Install the new engine and tranny, readjust the rear of my suspension and bring it up a little to improve ride quality, plus drop it off at the body shop to refinish a new oem rear bumper and install a matching rear accessory lip (was tough to find, but glad i did)

I bought one for like $100 I think.. Worked nicely. It's called a stud gun dent puller. Check places like Harbor Freight and online even.

This is what I've done today.

-Took out the timing belt cover to check the TDC.
-Turn the crank pully counter clockwise till the white mark is lined up with the two markers on bottom timing belt cover. (Pic 1)
-While turning the pully, I stuck a long screw driver to check if the cylinder 1 is at it's top most position and it was.
-While the valve cover was off I -
- replaced valve cover gasket and spark plugs gasket.
- took out the VTEC solenoid and cleaned it and replaced the gasket (which only found at dealer for 20 bucks ).
- checked for valve movements if any loose ones and none.
- checked for valve clearance and they are within spec.
-Took out the exhaust manifold all the way to CAT converter to check if any clogged. (The spring bolts were pain to put back in...)
-Replaced the exhaust manifold gasket.
-I took the intake manifold out to check and clean.
-Replaced the intake manifold gasket.
-Took the TB out and cleaned it.
-Took the FITV out of TB and cleaned that also.
-Replaced little gaskets from FITV.
-Replaced TB gasket.
-Cleaned IACV.
-Tried to clean the fuel injectors with carb cleaner and let it air dried.
-replaced fuel filter.
-replaced spark plugs (NGK plugs that are described under the hood).
-replaced spark plug wires.
-replaced distributor O-ring, rotor and cap.
-cleaned the distributor. (outside only)
-flushed the radiator.

I just had my spark plugs and oil changed in my converted d15B engine.
I just had it fully synthetic and replaced my old NGK spark plugs with a platinum one.
I also had my timing belt and aircon belt replaced.
My car is a 97 VTi 4 door sedan going on her 110k+ run.

About a month ago I starter to swap out my old manual window regulators with power ones, got the drivers side done an got lazy lol just got the ambition today after tryin to roll the pass window down and it was tight n the door panel has been off and I slipped n punched the bracket that holds the switch, got pissed off at it and now they are both power lol

Been busy the last couple days. Finally got around to replacing the clutch in my '96. Found a seller on ebay who sold me an Exedy OE for $98 shipped!

This morning I re-dyed some of the moldings and washed the '96. I think they came out pretty well. Sucks that cancer is starting to show up in the rear.

After that, I cleaned up and painted the valve cover for the B16A that's in my '92. I could have done a better job - and I still have to clean up the lettering - but I am satisfied.

Also, I ordered windshield moldings for my '92 from Majestic, and UPS bent both of them during shipping! I called Majestic and they are sending replacements sight-unseen and no questions asked! These where about $130 for both.

+1 for Majestic Honda :thumbup:

For the first time this year, i got the em1 back out on the road!! Drove it for 300k back home, and am getting it ready for engine swap time :)

Got the rear swaybar back on, fully connected the E-Brakes, need the stupid front right UCA and to get the exhaust back on, I get to fire her up then!!!

window visors and new headlights/corners installed, license plates and frames... plus my front license plate doesnt have the threaded plastic insert, so once again, Independent Skate Company is holding something in my car together. my eg is actually coming together. once i can get out of bed without hacking up a lung, i'll grab some pics of the bastard.
