Tein vs. Neuspeed...for an EK
Well guys, first order of business is suspension. However, I don't have much money right now, so I'm going with just lowering springs. Shocks and struts are down the road.
My question is this...which set of springs preform better with stock struts/shocks? Also, I know the Tein lower it 1.9f/1.7r, and the neuspeed I believe are 2.5f/2.3r. If I were to get neuspeed, would a chamber kit be practical? I know for the tein I won't need one, because it wouldn't be that low.
Also, any pictures of your ek with either tein or neuspeed springs would be great to get an idea of how low they make the car sit.
Thanks guys!

my tein springs on my ek ex suck! It doesn't lower the car as much as you want(w/17's) and they bunce all over the place(bumps) which illudes me to KNOW that you might want to consider neuspeed race springs, screw the camber kit and just have it slammed!

Well I'm going with 15's or 16's. I guess if you just put springs on any stock struts/shocks...it will bounce all over the place. I can deal with it for the time being. Anyways, do you have any pics of your car?
Any other input is greatly appreciated!

Re: (Tuesdaynightfever)
obiviously you didn't replace the shocks/struts and obiviously you chose a poor setup for your wheels.
I have em1 wheels on tein stechs and kyb agx shocks/struts and i'm ridicuously stiff and the drop is perfect for my setup.
also you should do the washer trick on the rear, and no front camber needed if you rotate tires every 6000 miles.

Re: (Spoolinator)
what's ur problem with them?
maybe you installed them wrong,
didn't cut the bump stop, cut it too small, and u have 17 inch wheels so the drop isnt enough, maybe you should have thought about that in the first place

stop and think about it, where in relation is the bump stop to the ride height......um....yeaa
and the drop isn't enough for the huge RACING HARTS I have, thus i should have thought about it. but that doesn't change the fact that TEIN s-techs SUK and are CHEAP, end of story

if it were me i would save up for some coilovers but if u really want to lower your car, don't get the teins s-tech because i had them before on my integra and it felt almost like stock

if you're looking at options... there are neuspeed sport springs and neuspeed race springs... the first lower less... the second more... at one point in time the H&R's and the neuspeeds were exactly the same specs... might not be true anymore...

Tein SS rule... enough said.
I love seeing guys w/ cheap set ups I laugh as I pass by and cut them off. I love doing the bouncing effect look as I point and laugh.

Yeah, I have Tein SS Dampers on my teggy right now. I'm selling it with them on though.
dawrenn...do you have any chamber wear with those springs? Any rubbing? Are those the H&R's that lower it 1.75/1.5 or 2.5/2.25? Either way, nice ride!
Thanks guys!

No, I dont have camber wear and I have not got an alignment. There is some rubbing when I do a u-turn. Those are the H&R's that lower the car 2.5/2.25.
Thanks.
