Default Tein SS Coilovers - After Install ?

All 4 are like this, here are pictures of the front 2.





Perhaps a missing washer?

did u forget the bottom rubber piece?
theres a washer under the rubber pirce too you forgot one of them

They should not be that high up. I think your missing a washer on the bottom part.

yeps, the washer that is missing is the one that goes right under the stock metal dust boot right where the shock rod thins out

Happen to know off the top of your head what size washer that i'll need?

And this will not require me to take the actual springs back off will it?

its not just any washer its the one that sits on the shock rod that holds the rubber pieces in place and doesnt alow them to move down further.. and yep.. gonna have to take them all back off : good luck

really need to know where i can get this mysterious washer. a site on the net, or exact size/type.

it shall be fixed.

Yeah, you should've reused the washers from your stock stuff.

I did the same thing. It's that fat silver washer that has a taper in it. Gotta get it from honda. It sits over the tapered part of the shaft. Don't drive around like that.

I didn't put them on, and no longer have the old shocks.

Thanks a lot, anyone else agree it's part #13 for both rear and front?

You should go beat the hell out of whoever put them in.
Just doubling up on what I said, they're SPECIAL washers. Tapered hole. Go to honda and have them order you some overnight. Shouldn't be any more than a few bucks extra. The only part that sucks is that you have to pull the shocks back out like you were doing a complete suspension swap again.

I was just going to order them from the site, honda dealers around here are a hassle to work with.

Even though majestic honda is a bit slow sometimes.
