Tein SS Coilover after install question
I did not have time to take pictures, as the morning I lowered my car I was already about late for my plane back here to Iraq. I'm not sure if you will be able to help out, but here is what I saw.
The front right coilover, after lowered seemed to almost be sticking up from inside the engine bay. What would cause this?
If you have any questions let me know, I did not do the actual install myself, but the guy doing it knew what he was doing..perhaps he just forgot something?
Thanks.

That sounds about right.
I honestly had about 5 minutes to drop my car and push it back into place before I left. Hard night of drinking the night before was not a good idea.
Thank you

I have a similar question. What washers should be used? I just installed my ss last night with the same washers i was using on my koni yellows. After a test drive I hit a huge hole (figures right, first drive with em) and the drivers side rod went through the bushing similar to phreakmangs problem. I havent took the shock out to check it but I would think the center hole on the washer might be too big and the rod went through. Hopefully there is no damage. What washers have you guys used?

Found the problem! I used the washers from the Koni yellows. Big mistake. These washers have a bigger opening than an oem washer due to the konis having a thicker rod (lol). The freakin washer went about a quarter of the way down the rod. Luckily I was able to slide the washer off without any damage to the shock but know I have a small dent on the hood. Sucks!!

Yeah like everyone else said you probably left off either the top or the bottom washer. Get it fixed though or you'll end up w/ the shock going through the hood I did the same thing... twice.... on my car. It took me lowering it and it not looking right for me to realize I left the bottom ones off, and then driving and having one of the rear bushing pop off to notice I needed top ones... rushing these things is a bad idea
