I've got TEIN springs on my 4DR EK teamed up with KYB AGX's and they would be good for stock shocks becuase they drop isn't too drastic and the ride is of the heezy. I highly recommend them.

You can run them for a while but you Will want some upgrades quick.
If the drop is 1.5 in or lower the stock strut life will be shortened.

Most any upgrade will work...But if you have a specific type of performance in mind then the price goes up.
Money is a concern to me and on my latest ride I chose Gound Control and KYB AGX. The better strut would be Koni Yellow and the price difference is only 200 on the set.
My reason for AGX is simple I love to autox but am only in my second year and the Konis have more adjustments than I have skills to adjust them. The AGX's only have 4 adjustments and they worked great last year.
I believe that KYB's warranty is void on drops 1.75 in or more keep that in mind.
